Residential claims or homeowner claims as it is referred to by some insurance carriers, are claims that involve a private dwelling of an insured. Coverage for the residence consists of the dwelling, personal property, other structures and your additional living expense.

The owners of this residential home located in Islip, NY sustained extensive fire and water damage to his attached garage as well as to the interior of his home. The fire, smoke and water damage spread throughout the main level of the home. The owners had to relocated for two months while I handled their insurance claim. I was able to negotiate more than adequate settlement with the carrier to cover all structural repairs along with the replacement of their contents.

The owners of this home located in Centereach, NY were the victims of a bad house fire. The house sustained very extensive damage to the structural in addition to the owners losing all of their personal property. We were at a point that it would be cost effective to knock the house down rather than try to repair the home. So I was able to negotiate a settlement over $360,000.00 with the adjuster to cover the cost of the entire tear down and rebuild of the home. Needless to say, the contractor that was hired was able to rebuild the home to include a second floor, attached garage and a full rear deck.

The owners of this home located in Bayport, NY sustained a fire to their home that literally burnt their two car garage down to the ground. The interior damage was extensive to the left side of the home on both the main and second levels. With this particular fire claim I was able to negotiate with the Chubb adjuster a settlement over $600,000.00 and that allowed us to reconstruct the home to a new design.
